We've recently updated this
website, with information about our summer 2006 library tour , a printable mini-poster for the tour of the Kaleidoscope Story Cafe, and a listing of summer 2006 public appearances by the
Kaleidoscope Storytellers. If you want us to e-mail you each
time we add something new, just click here.
We have adopted the image of
a kaleidoscope for our tandem programs because we believe that
stories are like the mirrors inside a kaleidoscope, reflecting
and revealing the world. Like kaleidoscopic images, stories change
over time and with each new telling. We use a kaleidoscope of
storytelling techniques to bring traditional tales to life for
a new generation. Besides, we think that kaleidoscopes
are fun to make and use.
